A man was searching carefully along the sidewalk and lawn one night. A policeman saw him and came over to find out what the trouble was.

"I lost my watch," explained the man, so the policeman helped him look for it.

"Don't you have any idea where you lost it?" asked the policeman.

"Sure," replied the man. "Back there about half a block."

"Well, what are you looking here for?" demanded the policeman.

"Oh," said the man, "the light's better here."
